The above is the quote from my email signature. It reflects my approach to design. Visual design is art with a purpose, a goal, it is a tool to aid in information gathering, wayfinding, marketing or just enhancement to an experience. Like a great many UX Designers or  Product Designers,  I began my design career in the fundamentals of Art, space, color, type, imagery and how those choices of the combinations inform the audience out their world.
